“Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” Plantation Drive

Overview
To promote sustainable environmental growth and strengthen rural ecological balance, USLK Foundation conducted a major plantation program titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” at Moreswar High School, Rajur (Ganpati).
The initiative encouraged students and community members to plant saplings in honor of their mothers—symbolizing gratitude, life, and the nurturing power of nature.
This event was held in partnership with Param Skill Training Center, bringing together teachers, students, local leaders, and villagers for a united effort towards environmental conservation.
Objectives of the Initiative
The plantation drive was designed with clear, long-term sustainability goals:
Increase groundwater levels by growing more native and beneficial tree species
Promote environmental awareness among school children and local communities
Strengthen biodiversity around Rajur and nearby villages
Create greener surroundings for future generations
Inspire emotional connection with nature by dedicating each tree to one’s mother
